Online Service Booking Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all caravan and motorhome service bookings made through the Grantham’s online booking system. By making a booking online, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Booking Confirmation & Appointment Times

1.1 All bookings made via our online system are subject to acceptance by Grantham Caravans.

1.2 The time selected during the booking process is a vehicle drop-off time, not the time the service work will commence or be completed.

1.3 We will make reasonable efforts to complete work within the estimated timeframe; however, completion times are not guaranteed and may vary depending on workload, parts availability, and additional work identified.

2. Advance Booking Notice

2.1 Our online booking system does not accept bookings within five (5) working days of the current date.

2.2 If you require a service within the next five working days, you must contact us directly to check availability.

2.3 Availability for short-notice bookings is not guaranteed

3. Same Day Services

3.1 Any same-day service must be dropped off before 11:00am on the day of the booking.

3.2 Vehicles arriving after 11:00am may need to be rescheduled at our discretion.

4. Cancellations, Refunds & Deferrals

4.1 If you cancel your booking, an administration fee of £35 will be deducted from any refund due.

4.2 Refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.

4.3 You may request to defer (reschedule) your booking free of charge; however, this is subject to Grantham Caravans’ discretion and availability.

4.4 Repeated cancellations or deferral requests may be refused.

5. Pricing, Discount Codes & Promotions

5.1 Discount codes must be applied at the time of booking.

5.2 Discount codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other live offer or promotion unless expressly stated otherwise.

5.3 We reserve the right to withdraw or amend promotions at any time.

5.4 A legally binding contract is formed at the point of booking and payment confirmation.

5.5 Grantham Caravans is legally required to provide the service at the agreed price confirmed at the time of booking.

5.6 Prices are fixed at the time the booking is made. Any subsequent promotions, discounts, price reductions, or special offers introduced after a booking has been confirmed do not apply retrospectively to existing bookings.

5.7 Grantham Caravans is not obligated to amend, reduce, refund, or adjust the agreed price of a confirmed booking due to future promotions or marketing campaigns.

5.8 Customers remain entitled to any statutory cancellation rights in accordance with applicable UK consumer legislation.

6. MOT Bookings

6.1 MOT tests booked online cannot be carried out on the same day as booking.

6.2 MOTs are conducted by a third-party provider.

6.3 MOT appointments are subject to third-party availability and scheduling.

7. Notes Added During Booking

7.1 The online booking system allows customers to add notes regarding issues, concerns, or matters we should be aware of.

7.2 While we will review all notes submitted, inclusion of additional issues does not mean:

  • They will be repaired under the same service cost;
  • They will be addressed within the same appointment; or
  • They will be completed within the same timeframe.


7.3 Any additional work identified will be quoted separately and requires customer authorisation before being carried out. Due to both workshop and parts availability this may require a further appointment. 

8. Warranty Work

8.1 Any outstanding manufacturer or supplier warranty work may not be carried out during the same visit as a booked service.

8.2 Warranty work is subject to authorisation and/or parts approval from the manufacturer or supplier.

8.3 Delays may occur where approval or parts are required.

9. Mechanical Services

9.1 Our mechanical service is an oil and filter service only, unless otherwise specified.

9.2 This service may not meet the full requirements of certain vehicle manufacturers’ warranty conditions, including but not limited to:

  • Fiat
  • Ford
  • Peugeot
  • Mercedes-Benz

9.3 It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the service booked complies with their vehicle manufacturer’s warranty requirements.

10. Habitation Services

10.1 Our habitation service is a full AWS (Approved Workshop Scheme) service carried out by qualified technicians.

10.2 This service is designed to maintain most caravan and motorhome manufacturers’ warranties.

10.3 If you are unsure whether the service meets your warranty requirements, you must contact us prior to booking.

11. Additional Work & Parts

11.1 Any additional repairs, parts, or labour required beyond the booked service will be quoted separately.

11.2 Work will not proceed without customer approval unless required for safety reasons.

12. General

12.1 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings at our discretion.

12.2 Prices are subject to change without prior notice; however, confirmed bookings will be honoured at the agreed price unless additional work is required.

12.3 By completing an online booking, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and correct.
