We get in touch to let you know the service is complete and on the day of collection, go through the operations of the service we have delivered.
Leisure vehicles need to be serviced regularly to ensure that they are road worthy and that they are habitable to live in.
Servicing is also a main criteria that needs to be done to ensure your caravan maintains its manufacturer’s warranty (if applicable).
Just like a car we advise you have a service every year. Even if you aren’t under warranty.
This is to ensure that your caravan is safe but it will also save you money on spending out on huge repairs. As we have seen many times, problems that go undetected can be costly in the long haul.
Depending on how often you tour and if you are touring over unsurfaced roads then you may want to consider servicing it more than once a year.
Yes. It does depend on the warranty agreement however, in majority of cases the agreement is that you will need to service your warranty to ensure it stays valid.
Be cautious and ensure you read the servicing / habitation schedule as manufacturers can be quite strict on this. Missing a service by a day could invalidate the warranty.
Yes. All of our engineers are AWS approved and are trained to the highest recommended standards.
With over 30 years combined experience and a fully equipped workshop we have all that is needed to identify any issues that may occur to prevent any long term damage.
Our caravan service doesn’t service gas appliances however, they will be safety checked and reported back if any defects have occurred. We can carry this out if you requested us to do so (at an additional cost).
The AWS scheme is supported by all major manufacturers, so doesn’t matter what type of caravan you have we will be able to service it for you yet still maintain your manufacturer’s warranty.
A caravan service can usually take up to 3 to 4 hours. However, you don’t need to wait around. You can drop it off and pick it up at your convenience.
We work to a specific AWS Approved Workshop checklist. This checklist includes checks such as; electrical systems, water system, ventilation, bodywork, running gear, damp check, fire & safety and much more.
