Following the successful launch of its state-of-the-art 12-bay service workshop earlier this year, Grantham’s has officially unveiled the next stage in its ambitious redevelopment plans—a new, yet temporary, awning display showroom, is now open to the public.

The new facility, which forms part of the company’s broader Phase 2 development, was opened with a ceremonial ribbon cutting by Liam from Telta Awnings, Bob Evans (Director at Grantham’s), and Ben Duffin-Rose (Accessory Shop Manager). The event marks another significant step forward in Grantham’s long-term vision to transform its site into a leading destination for leisure vehicle customers in the Midlands.
One Step Closer To The Long Term Vision
Positioned at the front of the site, the new awning display showroom marks a significant upgrade from the previous outdoor setup—expanding the display from just 4 awnings to an impressive 15. Now majority of the display housed indoors, the facility allows customers to browse and compare awnings all year-round, whatever the weather, creating a far more immersive and informed shopping experience. This new space also represents a key step towards Grantham’s long-term vision: the creation of a multi-purpose building that will feature a new sales area, an expanded awning display and accessory shop, upgraded office facilities, a dedicated service reception, an indoor showroom, and a welcoming café.
Bob Evans, Director at Grantham’s, commented:
“This new facility is all about continuing to raise the bar for our customers. Having more awnings on display gives people the chance to properly explore the products before they buy, which we know adds real value to their experience. We’re proud to be investing in our site, our team, and the wider industry. This phase not only enhances what we can offer customers, but also creates new opportunities for employment in the local community.”
The launch of the temporary awning showroom follows a period of sustained growth for Grantham’s accessory department. Over the last three years, the team has seen record-breaking results and continues to expand both in-store and online by maximising all on-site retail opportunities.

Liam from Telta Awnings shared his thoughts on the day:
“It’s a real honour to be invited to open this new awning facility alongside the Grantham’s team. Our partnership continues to go from strength to strength, and it’s brilliant to see a retailer in the Midlands putting such effort into giving customers access to our range. Being able to see, touch, and compare our awnings in person makes a huge difference—and Grantham’s is making that possible.”
Ben Duffin-Rose, Accessory Shop Manager at Grantham’s, added:
“We’ve worked really hard to expand our awning and accessory offering, and this new space gives us the chance to showcase even more to our customers. It’s an exciting time for the business and for the whole team.”

Although unable to attend in person, Paul Connolly, Director at Grantham’s, expressed his support:
“The launch of the new awning showroom is another proud moment for Grantham’s. It’s a clear sign of the momentum we’re building—not just with our facilities, but with our customer-first mindset. I’d like to thank our brilliant team and partners like Telta who’ve helped bring this next phase to life. There’s more to come, and we’re just getting started.”

With a firm focus on continued investment, innovation, and customer experience, Grantham’s is rapidly establishing itself as the go-to name for caravanning and motorhome services in the Midlands. This latest development cements its reputation as a forward-thinking, customer-driven retailer with big ambitions for the future.
